■ Remove a Cooling Fan
1. Push the tab on the back side of the fan finger guard and pull up to remove the fan finger
guard from the drive.

2. Pull the cooling fan straight up from the drive. Remove the protective tube on the power
supply connector and disconnect the connector to remove the fan from the drive.

■ Install a Cooling Fan
Reverse the removal procedure to install a cooling fan.
