Why is my YASKAWA MH SIGMA-5 Valve Positioners motor overheating?
- CCynthia CarpenterJul 28, 2025
If your YASKAWA Valve Positioners motor overheats, it may be due to several reasons. The ambient temperature might be too high, so you should reduce it below 40° C (104° F), keeping in mind that the positioner's operating range is 0 to 45° C (32 to 113°F). Another cause could be a dirty motor surface, which requires cleaning. Finally, the motor might be overloaded, in which case you should reduce the load or unbalanced load.
