(3) The maximum length of time which can be
designated with address U or P is as fol-
lows .
Dwell time: 0.001 to 9999.99 seconds
Dwell time is not influenced by input/output
increment.

Notes :
1.
G04 is a non–modal G code.
2. The counting of dwell time is started from
the instant the control enters the ERROR
DETECT ON state upon completion of the
move command block before G04.
Therefore, with G04 UO ; , the control
advances to the next block immediately
after detecting the ERROR DETECT ON
state.

With the above program, chip cutting feed
is obtained.
