b) Hot blast stove (blast furnace facility)
The hot blast stove is a facility used to heat the air used in a blast furnace to provide the high-
temperature hot air blast.
The air is heated by combustion of the gas generated from the coke ovens. The O
2
analyzer is
used to control or monitor this combustion.
