Usage Features

  • Activation/Deactivation: Touch the On/Off sensor field for 1 second.
  • Cooking Zone Selection: Touch the sensor field corresponding to the desired cooking zone.
  • Heat Setting Adjustment: Use the +/- sensor fields to increase or decrease the heat setting from 1 to 9. A "P" indicates Booster operation.
  • Booster Function: Provides maximum power for a limited time, then automatically reverts to the highest heat setting. Activated by setting the cooking zone to maximum heat and then touching "+". Deactivated by touching "-".
  • Residual Heat Indicator (H): Appears when a cooking zone is hot, indicating a burn risk. It may also appear for neighboring zones, when hot cookware is placed on a cold zone, or when the hob is deactivated but still hot.
  • Automatic Switch Off: Deactivates the hob if all zones are off, no heat setting is selected after activation, an object is on the control panel for more than 10 seconds, the hob overheats, or incorrect cookware is used.
  • Lock Function (L): Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes to heat settings during operation. Activated by touching the lock sensor field for 4 seconds. Deactivated by touching the lock sensor field again.
  • Child Safety Device (L): Prevents accidental operation of the hob. Activated by activating the hob, not setting a heat setting, then touching the lock sensor field for 4 seconds. Deactivated similarly.
  • OffSound Control: Allows deactivation and activation of hob sounds. Deactivate the hob, then press On/Off for 3 seconds, followed by the lock sensor field for 3 seconds. Displays "0" for sounds off or "1" for sounds on.
  • Power Management: Automatically reduces power to cooking zones if the total consumed power exceeds the maximum available power, prioritizing the last selected zone.
  • Cookware Suitability: Induction zones require cookware with a magnetic bottom (cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, multi-layer bottom). Cookware should have a flat, thick base and be clean and dry. Avoid sliding pots to prevent scratches. Cookware dimensions should be within the specified range for optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Cooking Examples: The manual provides a table with recommended heat settings and times for various cooking applications, from keeping food warm (setting 1) to boiling large quantities of water (setting 9/P).

Maintenance Features
