9.0XD Notes
The 9.0XD protection circuit will engage itself three times and will
then lock itself up. This is so you will know there is a problem. Before
pulling a “dead” 9.0XD from a car, always use the cold boot button or
remove the main 12 volt connection and then reattach to reset the amp.
Competition is a special case and there are no universal rules. If you
have a problem ...Call us.
But, for street use...
Never set Gain over three LEDs or 23db on the XD/VFD-WRC.
Never set pre-clip levels higher that your speaker’s RMS power rating.
