PRECA UTIONS
Avoid moisture. Moisture condensation may occur
on the tape if it is moved from a cold place to a warm
place. When using a tape under these conditions, wait
until the tape has warmed to room temperature and
the moisture has evaporated to avoid a damage to the
tape and your TV/VCR.
Avoid exposure to extreme heat, high humidity, and
magnetic fields.
Do not tamper with the cassette mechanism.
Do not touch the tape with your fingers.
INSERTING A CA SSETTE
Insert the cassette in the direction as shown. Gently push
on the back center portion of the cassette continuously
until it is drawn into the TV/VCR.
The TV/VCR will automatically turn on.

Select the desired tape speed format before recording:
SP Mode:Standard Play
LP Mode:Long Play
SLP Mode: Super Long Play
The table below shows the maximum recording/play-
back time when using a T60, T 120, or T 160 tape in each
mode.

REMOVING A CASSETTE
1) In the Stop mode, press EJECT button on the remote
control or press STOP/EJECT button on the
TV/VCR. The TV/VCR will eject the tape.
2) Pull the cassette out of the cassette compartment and
store in its case as shown.
ERASE PREVENTION
Breaking off the plastic tab
from the back edge of the
cassette prevents accidental
erasure of your recording.
If you decide to record on ]
the tape again, simply cover [
the hole with tape. ]
