Spring Preload Adjustment
1. Clean any dirt or debris from the slots of the shock
adjusting collar (A).
2. Using an adjusting wrench, turn the adjusting collar (A).
3. For measurements less than the specified value,
decrease the preload on the spring by turning the
adjustment collar counter-clockwise on the shock. If
more than the specified value, increase the preload on
the spring by turning the adjustment collar clockwise on
the shock.
Rebound Adjustment
The rebound adjuster knob (A) is at the bottom of the
shock. Printed on the knob is “H” meaning Hard (MAX,
which is for slower rebound) and “S” meaning Soft (MIN,
which is for faster rebound). The ride quality adjustment
knob controls the hardness or softness the ride quality of
your motorcycle. Turning the knob clockwise, or H
direction, is good for big impacts.
Turning the knob counter-clockwise, or S direction, is good
for smaller and more frequent impacts.
Note: Adjusters should never be forced completely “Soft”
or “Hard”; always leave one click of adjustment in either
direction.
