Functional test
Once installation has been completed, check again whether the radiator head
cable’s connections are properly inserted and secured by the clip. Then perform a
functional test.
Caution!
Make sure that the plug connections are properly connected and that
the clip is secure. The device may only be operated if the radiator head cable is
correctly connected. People and the environment may be at risk, or the device
may become damaged, if that is not the case.
Caution!
Remember that microwave radiation can penetrate walls and partition
screens, and interfere with other technical or medical devices. Bear this in mind
when deciding where to locate the device. Consult your building administration or
technical management if necessary.
Interference can only be avoided by operating the device in isolation from other
equipment in a screened room.
Place the adjustment knobs of the adjustable radiator head in the “circular field”
position and switch on the device.
After switching on, make sure that all the display elements are working correctly
(lights and LED figure displays) and that the acoustic tone indicating the end of
the self-test is audible.
Press the start/stop button and select the pulsed operating mode (pulse
frequency 0.5 Hz) and a power setting of L 50 W (low power).
Move the test lamp (see accessories) through the field at a distance of
approximately 10 cm in front of the radiator head. The lamp must flicker. If it does
not, prevent the device from being used any further and contact customer
service.
When doing so, comply with the warnings in these instructions for use!
