Individuals who are unconscious or not fully capable of responding,

Wet clothing and wet dressings
Radiation must not be applied directly to metallic foreign bodies such
as endoprostheses, metal plates and metal discs. These objects must
therefore remain outside the radiation field.
Cardiac pacemakers are an absolute contraindication!
Caution is necessary when treating patients with impaired heat
sensitivity.
Microwave treatment must not be administered to individuals who have
previously taken circulation-boosting products (e.g. Finalgon
®
, ABC-
Pflaster
®
patches).
