Preparing for use

Formatting SD cards
You should format SD cards for use with the Q.
When the Recording Screen is open,
1.
press c to open the Setting
Screen.
Select “SD Format”.

On the Confirmation Screen, press

r and select “YES R”.
This will start SD card formatting.

Setting the date and time
If the date and time are set, the recorder can add the recording date and time to files.
When the Recording Screen is open,
1.
press c to open the Setting
Screen.
Press

→ to open the date and time

Use the buttons to set the current

After purchasing a new SD card, always format it using the

Q to maximize performance.
All data previously saved on the SD card will be deleted when it is formatted.
