4. Switch on Bluetooth tethering to share the phone‟s data
connection with the computer.
NOTE: Switch off Bluetooth tethering to stop sharing the
data connection.
Share the Mobile Data Connection as a Wi-Fi
Hotspot
Turn the phone into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot to share the phone‟s
data connection with other devices. Using this feature requires a
data connection on a mobile network and may result in data
charges.
NOTE: You cannot use the phone‟s Wi-Fi to access the
Internet when the portable Wi-Fi hotspot feature is
enabled. The phone remains connected to the
Internet through the mobile data network.
1. Touch the Home key > > Settings > All settings >
More > Tethering & portable hotspot.
2. Switch on Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
After a moment, the phone starts broadcasting its Wi-Fi
network name (SSID).
3. On another device, locate the phone through Wi-Fi and
connect with it to use the phone‟s mobile data.
NOTE: To stop sharing the data connection, switch off
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
