CablingPrinciples
lBeforeinstallation,signalcablesmustpassthecontinuitytest.Bothsidesofeach
signalcableshouldbemarkedorlabeledcorrectly.
lSignalcablesmustbefreeofdamage,breakage,andjoints.
lDonotroutesignalcablesonventilationholesbecausethiswillaffectheatdissipation
andcablelife.
lDuringthecabling,itisnotallowedtobindpowercablesandsignalcablestogether.
lCablinginthecabinetmustnotaffectdoorinstallation.
lCablesmustberoutedalongthehorizontalandverticalcabletraysinaatandstraight
manner,withoutcrossoversorfolds.
lForasmallnumberofopticalbers,theberscanberoutedtogetherwithothercables
andprotectedinsoftmanagementsets.Foragreatnumberofopticalbers,thebers
shouldberoutedalongverticalcabletraysandprotectedinsylphonbellows.
