Using the Phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
You can use the phone as a portable WLAN router, providing
Wi-Fi access for one or multiple PC or other devices. The
function need data connection on a mobile network and may
result in data charges.
TIPS:
 The PC accesses the Internet via the phone’s mobile
network. Therefore, set up the mobile data connection
correctly before you try to use the phone as a Wi-Fi
hotspot.
 When the portable Wi-Fi hotspot function is enabled, you
cannot connect your phone to other Wi-Fi hotspots.
Enabling the Wi-Fi Hotspot
1. Touch the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings >
Portable hotspot.
2. Slide the ON/OFF switch next to Portable hotspot.
NOTE: Touch CONFIGURE to edit your phone’s hotspot
name (Network SSID), type, security, and password.
3. On another device, locate your phone via Wi-Fi and
connect with it to start using the phone’s mobile data.
NOTE: You can also touch WPS BUTTON on the phone
and on the other device to connect.
