Maintenance
11.1 Overview
This chapter describes the maintenance screens. It discusses how you can upload new firmware,
manage configuration and restart your NWA1121-NI without turning it off and on.
This chapter provides information and instructions on how to identify and manage your NWA1121-
NI over the network.

In the figure above, the NWA1121-NI connects to a Domain Name Server (DNS) server to avail of a
domain name. It also connects to an Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to set the time on the
device.
11.2 What You Can Do in this Chapter
•Use the General screen to specify the system name (see Section 11.4 on page 120).
•Use the Password screen to manage the password for your NWA1121-NI (see Section 11.5 on
page 121).
•Use the Time screen to change your NWA1121-NI’s time and date. This screen allows you to
configure the NWA1121-NI’s time based on your local time zone (see Section 11.6 on page 122).
•Use the Firmware Upload screen to upload the latest firmware for your NWA1121-NI (see
Section 11.7 on page 123).
•Use the Backup/Restore screen to view information related to factory defaults, backup
configuration, and restoring configuration (see Section 11.8 on page 124).
•Use Restart screen to reboot the NWA1121-NI without turning the power off (see Section 11.9
on page 125).
