Note: Do not activate OpenVPN Server and OpenVPN Client at the same time on the same
Multy Device. The Multy Device can only connect to one server at a time.
Note: OpenVPN Client is not available if you are using Bridge mode.

The labels used in the graphic are explained below:
• ZD – A Multy Device that serves as the OpenVPN client.
• R – A router that serves as the OpenVPN server.
• S – A switch that connects the OpenVPN server and the local network.
• N – A local network behind the OpenVPN sever.
The following example uses the parameters below to configure the OpenVPN Client settings.
1 Go to the OpenVPN Client screen.
2 Request for an .ovpn file from the OpenVPN server your Multy Device will connect to and import it. The
file should include the OpenVPN server settings.
