Routine Testing
Once the proper size is selected and assigned to the user following successful fit test to achieve minimum fit factors
required, the respirator user must perform and pass a negative pressure User Seal Check every time the facepiece is
donned to ensure proper fit before using the respirator in a hazardous atmosphere.
A respirator fit test must be routinely (at least yearly) carried out as outlined above for each user of this respirator to
determine or confirm the amount of protection that the respirator provides. Periodically repeating the fit testing is
required to identify any physical changes of the user that could affect the fit of the facepiece.
