1 Boot with the Red Hat CD or diskette:
a Insert either the Red Hat CD-ROM disk or a Red Hat boot
diskette into your computer.
b Start or reboot your computer.
c When the Welcome to Red Hat display appears, type
expert at the boot prompt.
boot: expert
A number of files will load and then a message will prompt you
to insert your driver disk.
2 Install the driver:
Insert the driver diskette containing the 3ware driver for Red
Hat and press Enter.
The system automatically reports:
Loading 3w-9xxx driver
3 When prompted, select the proper language and keyboard types
for your locality.
4 If asked for what type of media, select Local CD-ROM since
you are installing from the Red Hat CD-ROM.
