8. Temperature measurement
As described earlier, there are two ways of measuring the oil temperature:
0 The temperature signal is supplied by a temperature transducer as a 4...20 mA signal.
0 The temperature signal is supplied by a PT-100 sensor in a three-wire circuit.
8.1 Accuracy considerations
From a measurement standpoint, the accuracy of the hot-spot temperature recording is es-
sentially influenced by the oil temperature measurement.
Calculating the hot-spot temperature from the measured oil temperature does not intro-
duce any additional errors.

140°C does not exceed 0.1%, the average total error is achieved when using the proposed
