7.2 COM3/Modbus (RTU Master) Converter
The COM3/Modbus converter enables serial communication with any sensor or device that
supports the Modbus RTU protocol (slave). This enables temperature, gas in oil and ambi-
ent measurements to be directly recorded and processed. Conversion to a mA-Signal is no
longer necessary. The recorded data can be used and recorded for monitoring, and of
course transferred to the SCADA system.
