6.4.7 “Submenu User-Defi ned Units”
In addition to conventional fl ow units, user-defi ned fl ow engineering units may be selected.
Use the “Engineering Units and K-Factor” menu to navigate to the “User-Defi ned Units”
menu option. This option enables user defi ned confi guration of any engineering unit required
for process measurement.
The following three parameters are available for this function:
UD Unit volume K-Factor (defi ned in Liters)
UD Unit time base (defi ned in Seconds)
UD Unit use density (units with or without density support)
Before using the User-Defi ned Unit, be sure the proper conversion factor of the new unit,
with respect to one liter, is set. The default entry is 1.00 Liter. Also, proper time-based values
for User-Defi ned Units must be set.
