Fuse ratings
Use standard fuses with all ABB general machinery drives. For fuse ratings of ACS355
drives, refer the technical data on Power cable sizes and fuses in the ACS355 User’s
manual (3AUA0000066143 [English]).
For input fuse connection see fuse ratings in the table below. Refer to gG for AC and UR or
gG for DC. The uR fuse ratings are determined by the maximum instantaneous DC current
because the fuse works fast.
Important: Select fuses with current ratings two times higher than the DC current
calculated from the nominal power. For gG fuses, select fuses with current ratings one size
smaller than the DC current.
