About this chapter
This chapter describes the pump control features of solar pump inverter. Each feature
includes a list of related user settings, actual signals, and/or fault and alarm messages.
Dry run function
The solar pump inverter trips to a DRY RUN when the water flow is not available at the
pump inlet or when a blockage occurs in the pump. During these conditions the inverter
consumes less current than the minimum load current (6016 MIN LOAD CURRENT) or the
actual motor current is lower than the minimum load current for the defined trip time.
Note: The dry run function is disabled during the initial start up time.
