Note 4:
Non-ABB high-output and IP23 motors
The rated output power of high output motors is more than what is stated for the
particular frame size in EN 50347:2001. The table below shows the requirements for
random-wound and form-wound non-ABB motors with nominal power less than
350 kW. For larger motors, consult the motor manufacturer.
Note 5:
HXR and AMA motors
All AMA machines (manufactured in Helsinki) for drive systems have form-wound
windings. All HXR machines manufactured in Helsinki starting 1.1.1998 have form-
wound windings.
Note 6:
ABB motors of types other than M2_, M3_, HX_ and AM_
Use the selection criteria given for non-ABB motors.
