Testing the safety functions
Make sure the safety unit and safety module (Vital/Pluto/URAX) is working properly by following
these steps:
1. Interrupt Eden output by moving Eva away from Adam. The LED will light red when Eva is
out of range of Adam.
2. Remove interrupt by moving Eva back to within the detection distance from Adam.
3. Interrupt the DYNlink safety circuit before the unit to be tested. The LED will flash between
green and red.
4. Restore the DYNlink safety circuit. The LED will light green if the safety circuit(s) before this
unit is not interrupted.
5. An additional function test can be made by slowly moving Eva away from Adam. The LED
will flash fast green when Eva is 2 mm from the max detection distance to Adam.
