They must be installed when the device is connected to the
end of the entire bus cable.

To terminate the bus if the instrument is at the end of the
bus cable, the termination components in the S4 transmitter
can be used. To do so, close both hook switches in the
connection area of the transmitter.
Note
If the transmitter module is removed, bus termination is also
canceled.
