6. Check the oil-level. If the oil-level is low, refer to
Checking the oil-level, page 69.
CAUTION!
The oil-level must be above the red
area (29).
NOTE!
It is generally not necessary to fill the
bushing with oil after an oil sample is
taken. But it can be necessary to fill the
bushing with oil when many oil
samples have been taken.

Wait before energizing the bushing:
• If bubbles where not introduced into the transformer oil, wait one hour.
• If bubbles where introduced into the transformer oil, wait 12 hours.
CAUTION!
Flashovers and partial discharges can form in the bubbles, this can cause damage to the
bushing.
