11. Pull out the upper draw rod (35) and support
tubes (80) by hand.
CAUTION!
Be careful when pulling out the draw
rod. The bushings inside can easily be
damaged.

Install the lower draw rod (4) in the transport
cover (45).

Install the transport cover (45) on the transformer turret (46).

7.2 Removal of horizontally installed bushings
Overview
This procedure applies to bushings that are connected to the transformer oil-system. It is important to remove
a small quantity of transformer oil to make space for thermal expansion.
Procedure
1. Remove the bushing from the transformer, refer to Removal of the bushing from the transformer, draw rod,
page 73.

Drain a small quantity of transfomer-oil.
