Distributed busbar protection REB500
Section 6 Troubleshooting
6.1 Safety Instructions
All work on the REB500 busbar protection system must be carefully
planned. Errors when manipulating the system cannot only destroy
components, they can also cause false tripping and serious
interruption to the power supply.
Precautions must be taken in the immediate area when working on
the central unit or one of the bay units to exclude any possibility of
persons coming into contact with live parts.
A danger of electrical shock also exists when measuring currents
and voltages.
When replacing electronic modules, take the necessary precautions
to prevent damage to components due to electrostatic discharge
(ESD).
