4.4.4.4 Circuit-breaker opening

For manual opening, press pushbutton (43.1) (Figure 4.20). When there
is a shunt opening release, the operation can also be carried out by
remote control by means of a control circuit. The indicator (43.3) (Figure
4.20) shows that opening has been accomplished.
An additional control mechanism fitted in the door of the circuit-breaker
compartment enables mechanical operation of the circuit-breaker with
the door closed and with the withdrawable part in either position.
• Press the relative mechanical pushbutton (60.6), having previously
turned knob (60.12) anticlockwise to the stop, if the withdrawable
part is in the service position.
• Observe the switch position indicator. Detailed information about
installation and maintenance can be found in instruction manual
647016.
