(3). CMOS Memory Clearing Header
This jumper is used to clear the contents of CMOS memory. You may need to clear the CMOS memory if
the settings in the BIOS Setup Utility are incorrect and prevents your motherboard from operating. To
clear the CMOS memory, disconnect all the power cables from the motherboard and then move the
jumper cap into the CLEAR setting for a few seconds.
• Pin 1-2 shorted (default): Normal operation.
• Pin 2-3 shorted: Clear CMOS memory.
