Advanced settings – SNMP
The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is used to monitor and control
network components from a central station. The protocol regulates the
communication between the monitored devices and the monitoring station.
Activate
Select the checkbox to create a connection to SNMP software
SNMP Version
The version of the SNMP system
SNMP port
Enter the SNMP port here, usually 161
Write community
Enter the “Key” according to the settings of your SNMP
software here
Read community:
Enter the “Key” according to the settings of your SNMP
software here
Trap address
Enter the IP address of your SNMP manager here.
Trap port
Enter the trap port here, usually 162
