If the lancet does not drop out:
Keep the plunger pressed down.
Hook the edge of the white “collar” of the cap behind the platform of
the lancet.
A cut-out area on the inside of the lancet holder makes it easy to hook
the lancet platform (see illustration).
Use the white collar to pull the lancet out.
