Operators trained to perform testing
You may need to develop logs or modify existing templates to document the performance and review of these
records. Please call the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care service center at 1-800-440-3638 for a sample template.
When reviewing results from these manual logs, keep in mind the following points:
"Missing" results may have been performed but not documented.
It is up to the operator to ensure that the control result is in range.
Meter results cannot be used to reconcile manual log entries. This would be using the meter as a data
storage device which is not recommended in a multiple resident environment.
Reasons for not using meter results to reconcile manual log entries include:
-Multiple meters may have been used to run glucose tests entered on one log
-Meter results have no resident identifiers linked with the results
-Meter results from control samples may not have been flagged as a control test at the time the test was
performed
