To configure the alphanumeric mode, the keyb.ini file is edited in the [AlphaKBExtension] section. To
activate the function, enter a parameter with the AlphaModeSwitchTime settings option:

AlphaModeSwitchTime = 800
Optional configuration options:
Key Function
[AlphaKBExtension]
Identifier for AlphaMode section
AlphaModeSwitchTime
Time in ms; the 0 key must be pressed to switch between
alphanumeric ↔ numeric key function. Recommendation: 800 ms
With 0: alphanumeric mode is deactivated (default)
AlphaModeSelectTime
Time in ms after pressing the last key until the selected character
is entered.
Default: 1000
StartInAlphaMode
With 1: alphanumeric mode is activated when the device is
booted
Default: 0
StartAlphaUpcase
With 1: uppercase is activated when the device is booted
Default: 0
AlphaDisplaySize
Pixel height of character selection window
Default: 22
AlphaDisplayYPos
y pixel position of character selection window, top border
Default: 298
AlphaDisplayColBg
Colour of selection window background in RGB notation
Default: "255,255,128" (yellow)
AlphaDisplayColFg
Character colour in RGB notation
Default: "0,0,0" (black)
Alpha_x
Remap the characters that are displayed when scrolling through
the selection window. x (between 1 and 9) replaces the key that
enters the identical digit in numeric mode.
Example: Alpha_3 = "d,e,f,3"
Maps for "3" key the text messaging characters d, e, f and 3
