3.6 Display backlight power-saving mode (dimming mode)
To extend the battery time, the display light can be dimmed after a user defined time of inactivity or switched
off entirely. Edit the dev.ini file in the \flashdisk\system\ini directory by clicking the [Display] section.

BacklightNormal
Brightness of backlight in operating mode,
dark = 1 to bright = 100
Default: 100 (SE devices: 20)
BacklightReduced
Brightness of backlight in dimmed mode
Default: 4
BattBacklightReducedTime
Time of battery life in seconds until backlight is dimmed after
inactivity.
0 deactivates dimming function.
BattBacklightOffTime
Time of battery life in seconds until backlight is switched off
after inactivity.
ACBacklightReducedTime
Time with external supply in seconds until backlight is
dimmed after inactivity.
0 deactivates dimming function.
ACBacklightOffTime
Time with external supply in seconds until backlight is
switched off after inactivity.

After applying changes to this section of dev.ini, the device must be rebooted twice to accept the changes.
