Forget Admin
Password
- An unique Universal Password which is printed on the Security
Card. This unique password is a back door of Administrator
Password which will be accepted by projector anytime no matter
what the Administrator Password is.
- If you forget the Password, please do the following steps to get
the Universal Password:
(1) Click the “AcerSNID”
(2) Input SNID number. (SNID number is on the Security Card)
(3) Click “Calculate”. Then the Universal Password will appear.

- Please conrm whether the SNID number of Service Mode is the
same as the SNID number on the backside of projector.
- If not, please do the actions as below:
a. Execute the EDID Upgrade Procedure (refer to Chapter 6)
b. Execute “Un-lock SNID and Default Language Reset”
(refer to 6-5 of Chapter 6)
c. Press “Power”, “Left”, “Left” and “Menu” buttons sequentially to
get into Service Mode to obtain the SNID number, then calculate
the Universal Password.
