3.3 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Use the supplied cables only. Using other cables or accessories may affect EMC. It may also affect
compliance with the limits assured upon delivery.
Output cables, intended for a direct connection to outdoor wiring, are not covered by the assured
EMC characteristics of the unit. Those may require additional testing.
Stacking units or mounting the unit close to other electrical devices may cause interference effects
on both devices. A sufficient distance or shielding between these devices shall be ensured.
The unit is intended for operation in an electromagnetic environment with controlled RF distur-
bances.Maintainaminimumdistanceof30 cmbetweenportableHFtelecommunicationdevices
and any point of the unit or its cables to avoid electromagnetic interference.

The unit does not intentionally generate RF emissions.
However, due to its principle of operation, it may emit
within the specified limits.
RF emissions CISPR 11 Class B
RF emissions comply with the limits of CISPR 11 for
residential environments (class B) as well as all other
locations (class A).

Class D
The unit complies with the conducted emission limits
of class D (PC’s, monitors or TV receivers) for connec-
tion to the public power grid.

3.4 BIOS
You can call up the BIOS by pressing “Del” during start up. The BIOS settings of the unit are protec-
ted by a password in standard operation to prevent malfunctions from incorrect settings.
