are revealed
• Set the alarm threshold at 50
µV/m, to find severe leaks
• Set the alarm threshold at 20
µV/m, for FCC compliance
Alarm Mute Time-Out: In this setting
you can determine the amount of
time that will elapse before the alarm
is automatically re-activated.
Set this function by choosing one of the
following choices. Press “ENTER” when
complete.
a. Slow – alarm muted for approxi-
mately 16 seconds.
b.Medium – alarm muted for
approximately 8 seconds.
c. Fast – alarm muted for approxi-
mately 3 seconds.
d.The audio mute can be toggled
“on and off” by pressing enter key
(insert enter icon) while the leak-
age screen is displayed.
Leakage Units: Choose your measure-
ment unit.
Set this function by choosing one of
the following choices. Press “ENTER”
when complete:
a. µV/m = microvolts per meter (rec-
ommended for domestic USA)
b.dB20µV = decibels referenced to
20 microvolts
c. dBm = decibels referenced as one
milliwatt
d.µV = microvolts
e. dBµV = decibels referenced to
one microvolt
f. dBmV = decibels referenced to
one millivolt
g. dBµV/m = decibels referenced to
one microvolt per meter
Measurement Frequency: Select your fre-
quency in MHz.
Set the measurement frequency of
your choice (115 - 140 MHz). Press
“ENTER” when complete.
