6.4.1 Power supply 24 VDC
Power is fed to the device via a lead-through terminal (the figure shows the socket inside the device).

Requirements for the power supply unit:
• Class PS2 acc. to IEC 62368-1 – or –
Limited Power Source (LPS) acc. to IEC 60950-1
• Short circuit current: < 8 A
• For devices with UL approval: NEC Class 2
Note on use in accordance with UL certification (Underwriter Laboratories,
USA):
Use an LPS supply (Limited Power Source / NEC class 2).
Recommendation for use:
The distance between the casing and plug should be at least approx. 30mm
amount.
Use a flexible cable with a wire cross section of 0.5 mm² / AWG20 and appropriate
ferrules to maintain the mechanical force on the connector, as low as possible.
