Analog meter: Indicates a rough
value without wavelength
compensation, MAX-HOLD, and dBr
calculations. The ANALOG OUTPUT
terminal outputs this value.
Ranging is switched between
AUTO/MANUAL each time this key
is pressed. MNL lights during
MANUAL ranging.
These keys are used to increment
and decrement the set range,
wavelength of SMOOTHING amount.
Wavelength setting:
Automatically sets wavelength
sensitivity compensation and
enables direct absolute value
reading.
Procedure:
®Press the (j= key. A
compensation value or
coefficient is then displayed.
©Press and a keys to set
a wavelength.
The wavelength displayed in the
upper right of the display is then
changed.
°Press the (0 key again to
terminate setting.

Indication in W: "MAX" lights. The
maximum value is held and displayed
(MAX-Hold) when MAX is effective.
Indication in dBm: The value relative to
a reference level when this key is
pressed is displayed in units of dBr.
Each time this key is pressed, the
function is switched.
Sensor offset adjustment: The sensor
must be completely covered before
this key is pressed. For T082017,
close the sliding cover and shield the
sensor with additional material. "NULL"
is displayed during offset adjustment.
Smoothing: Averages measured
values.
Procedure:
8.01.X4
®Press the (1:3 key. The
number of smoothing
operations (1: smoothing off)
is then displayed.
©Press 6 and '8 keys to
the number of smoothing
operations.
°Press the TD key again.
This causes smoothing to
start and the SM indicator to
blink.
®Completion of specified
smoothing causes the SM
indicator to light.
To disable smoothing, set the
number of smoothing
operations to 1.
