4.32 F18: AZIMUTH STOWING FAILURE
The system failed to detect the correct azimuth stow sensor. The system will search ±10°
from its expected stow position for the tab marker. Possible causes:
Excessive stall or freewheel has uncalibrated axis so much that the systems azimuth angle is
in error by more than 10°. Action: re-calibrate axis.
The stow marker is not present.
The stow sensor or drive circuit has failed.
4.33 F19: ELEVATION STOWING FAILURE
The system failed to detect the elevation stows sensor in at its expected position. Possible
causes:
Excessive stall or freewheel has uncalibrated axis so much that the systems internal
elevation angle is in error by more than 10°. Action: re-calibrate axis.
The stow marker is not present.
The stow sensor or drive circuit has failed.
4.34 F20: POLARISATION STOWING FAILURE
The system failed to detect the correct polarisation stow sensor. The system will search ±10°
from its expected stow position for the tab marker. Possible causes:
Excessive stall or freewheel has uncalibrated axis so much that the systems polarisation
angle is in error by more than 10°. Action: re-calibrate axis.
The stow marker is not present.
The stow sensor or drive circuit has failed.
4.35 F23: POWER UP STATE SUSPECT
The system has been powered down when not physically stowed. The alarm warns the user
that the system is not physically stowed.
4.36 F25: STOW SENSOR POWER SUPPLY ERROR
The power supply to the antenna stow sensor detectors is out of specification.
4.37 F26: MRD POWER SUPPLY ERROR
The power supply to the motor rotator detectors is out of specification.
4.38 F27: INCLINOMETER POWER SUPPLY ERROR
The power supply to the inclinometer is out of specification.
4.39 F28: FPGA WATCHDOG TRIGGERED
The FPGA watchdog has been triggered. This indicates a serious timing issue within the
DCU software. Contact Advent Communications customer support if seen.
4.40 F31: HAND HELD CONTROLLER ACTIVE
The hand held controller attached to the DCU is switched-on. The ACU/DCU cannot control
the antenna drive. Stow antenna, reset the software, and disconnect the hand held controller.
