HITCHING TO TRACTOR
Implement Hitch
The implement is equipped with a combination
clevis / tongue swivel hitch. For a tongue-type tractor
drawbar, use the clevis hitch end. If the tractor has a
clevis-type drawbar, use the tongue hitch end
(Fig. 16).
Note: Relieve tractor internal hydraulic system
pressure before leaving seat.
WARNING! TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR
DEATH, STOP TRACTOR ENGINE,
SHIFT TO PARK POSITION OR SHIFT
TO NEUTRAL AND SET BRAKES
BEFORE LEAVING TRACTOR.
1. If in field, remove swivel hitch retaining pin. If
implement will be transported, install pin.
2. Hitch tractor to implement with a 1

" (31 mm)
pin (minimum diameter). Secure pin in place
with a clip pin.
3. Remove jack and fasten in storage position
(Fig. 17).
4. Connect hydraulic hoses to tractor couplers so
when tractor lever is pulled rearward, implement
raises.
IMPORTANT! Thoroughly clean hose couplers
and tractor couplings before connecting hoses.
WARNING! BE SURE NO ONE IS BETWEEN
TRACTOR AND IMPLEMENT DURING
HITCHING OPERATION WHILE
TRACTOR ENGINE IS RUNNING.
