List N Channel Scanner
The List N channel scan is used for listing the
frequency channels from specific channel standard
or customized frequency bandwidth.
Please refer to the procedures below to perform a
List N channel scanner measurement.
1 Connect the antenna to RF IN connector.
2 Turn on the channel scanner function.
Press [Meas] > {Channel Scanner}
3 Press [Meas] > {Scan Mode} > {List} to set the scan
mode to List N channel mode. Input the channel
number you need to monitoring. Press {Enter} as
a terminator.
4 Press {List Edit} to access the submenu to edit the
scan range.
Press {Insert} to insert a channel and access the
channel setting submenu to customize the
channel parameters.
Press {Edit Method Std}. It allows you to set the
range according to the embedded communication
standard, such as CDMA and GSM which is used
specifically in different countries.
Press {Signal Std} to load a standard file as your
need. Please refer to “Loading a file" on page 82
for details.
Press {Chn ID} to select the specific channel
according to the signal standard.
Or press {Edit Method Custom}. It allows you to set
the customer- defined scan as your need.
Press {Freq} to set the center frequency of the
current channel.
Press {Bandwidth} to set the bandwidth of each
frequency channel which is used to calculate the
channel power.
The first channel editing is completed. Press
{Return} > {Insert} to add more channels as your
need.
