Fuel System
l Each time you maintain the machine,
check fuel hose, fuel tank, and carbure-
tor for leakages and repair, if necessary.
Immediately replace leaking or porous
fuel hoses.
l Replace fuel hoses after every 2
years.
l Clean the fuel tank at 100-hour in-
tervals.

l Clean the fuel strainer at 100-hour
intervals.
To do this, drain all fuel into a suitable
container.
Clean the fuel strainer with a cleaning
solvent and inspect it for damage.
Replace the fuel strainer.

Excessive Fuel Supply
l After excessive fuel supply to the en-
gine, remove the spark plug, clean and
dry it. Then crank the engine with the
recoil starter a number of times. After-
wards screw the spark plug in and move
the speed control lever to "VOLLGAS"/
"FULL THROTTLE". Then start the en-
gine via the recoil starter.
