For calibration in accordance with the DKD-R 5-7 guideline, we
recommend reading the guideline. The current DKD guidelines are
available online at www.dakks.de.
Wait until no systematic changes are measured with the temperature
sensors before starting the calibration (especially for climatic chambers
without a circulation system).
3.2 Intended use
The ALMEMO
®
measuring system for calibrating climatic chambers is intended for
calibrating the measured variables temperature and humidity of climatic chambers
in accordance with the DKD-R 5-7 guideline. The temperature sensors and the
humidity sensor (usually a psychrometer) are used to record the measured values.
An atmospheric pressure sensor is used to measure the current atmospheric
pressure. The ALMEMO
®
measuring device is used to store and display the
measured and calculated values and to determine the calculated values (including
relative humidity). The AMR WinControl software is used to process and document
measured values for any number of channels. The assistant for calibrating climatic
chambers is a plug-in for the AMR WinControl software that supports the recording
and evaluation of measured values in the application of calibrating climatic
chambers. The additional protocol for directly integrating climatic chambers into the
online measurement supports the automation of climatic chamber control during the
calibration process. To find out which climatic chambers from which manufacturers
can already be addressed with the additional protocol, please contact technical
support (email help@ahlborn.com).
