Problem Probable Cause Solution
Valve makes loud
“chattering” noise.
Low voltage. Check power supply.
Low voltage PLC
output.
Replace PLC.
Dirty valve. Clean or rebuild valve.
Worn valve core. Rebuild valve.
Defective EMI lter. Replace EMI lter.
Very low concentration
oxygen output (21–
50%).
Oxygen sample ow
line obstructed.
Ensure that all
the valves on the
oxygen sample line
to the concentration
monitoring board are
open.
Ensure that the oxygen
regulator on the oxygen
sample line is set at ~6
psig.
Leaking check valves.
Clean or replace check
valves.

monitoring board

Replace the oxygen
concentration
monitoring board.
Oxygen generator
