Deprovision the client port.

state down
config port
card type shelf slot
delete
WEBUI In the Equipment Tree, select the client port.
In the Primary State field, select
Out of Service.
Click the Delete tab.
Select Delete this Port, and click
Submit

Ensure that all of the fibers connected to the XFP module are labeled.

Remove and cap all of the fibers connected to the SFP module.

Use the hook on the end of the XFP extractor/LC connector tool (or similar tool) to pull
down the bail on the XFP.
