OWER SUPPLY MODULES
One AC PSM (AC-to-DC power converter) (Figure 7) must be used with each AC PEM (Figure 8
on page 30). AC PSMs must be installed in the front power bays. AC PEMs are installed in the rear
power bays. The AC PSMs are not required when DC PEMs are installed.
One AC PSM and one AC PEM can support the full system current requirements if the 7450 ESS-
7 is operating without power redundancy. For redundancy, two AC PSMs and two AC PEMs must
be installed and powered on at all times.
