Installing the Dehumidistat (P/N 611224)
Note: If the Dehumidistat is used to sense bathroom humidity, it should be mounted high on
a wall near the shower or tub for a faster response. It should also be set to a higher relative
humidity (70-80%) to avoid unnecessary high-speed exhaust.
1. Run a 2-conductor low-voltage (24V) electrical wire through
the wall until it reaches the HRV/ERV.
2. Select one of the three options on the next page for
wiring, according to the HRV/ERV model and your
specific ventilation requirements. Connect one end o f
each conductor to the Dehumidistat’s wires, and the other
end to the HRV/ERVs control terminal block according t o
the diagram.
